As a Manhattan Arts reviewer commented, “Morrie Rohrlick takes colored pencil and acrylics and the subjects of still life and deftly transforms them into realistic, magnificent celebrations of colors.” Morrie’s artwork reflects the delight he took in life, his intellectual curiosity, his love of travel, his sense of humor, and his generous spirit. In an artist statement, he wrote, “My aim is to animate the inanimate, to create a world of lively, vibrant and exciting images, surfaces, textures and patterns that express the inner excitement and joy that I feel about my world.”
